CEO job opportunity for Older Person’s Advocacy Network (OPAN)

Are you the one to take OPAN forward?

Seniors living in residential aged care in Western Australia will have their rights better protected under a new national framework.

The Minister for Aged Care, the Hon Ken Wyatt AM, MP has awarded a single organisation, Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN), $25.7 million over three years to deliver a new national service.

From July 1, OPAN comprising nine state and territory aged care advocacy organisations – will deliver advocacy services under the National Aged Care Advocacy Program’s new national framework.

OPAN will build on the current outcomes and will focus on providing standardising practices, increasing our physical presence and innovating the way aged care advocacy is delivered.

The Board of the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) are seeking to appoint the inaugural CEO for this emerging organisation.
